OSB (Oriented Strand Board)  is a structural wooden board in flat form produced from a special type of wood pieces ("strips" of wood - strands), welded with resin of high resistance to moisture and temperature laid in an oriented arrangement, in 3 to 5 layers, As a product with excellent mechanical strength and cohesion in structural uses, it gained a large share in the construction market since it is widely used: 

• in masonry (either as a bearing in wooden houses, or as a lining/decorative element)
• as substrate for flooring (laminated, PVC, solid wood etc.)
• on roof covering under ceramic tiles
• in furniture production
