7. ORDER - PURCHASE
Placing an order through www.shopwood.gr constitutes the conclusion of a distance selling contract regulated by the legislative framework of Law 2251/1994, as amended by Law 4512/2018, and as currently in force. For the valid conclusion of the contract, your legal capacity is necessary and no legal assistance is required in relation to the conclusion of a sales contract. The Company reserves the right to claim from the supervisor or guardian any orders placed by legally incompetent persons.

In order to order, it is not necessary to register with your username and password, but we would advise you to become a member, as the whole process will be much easier in any future use of the online store.

8. PAYMENT METHODS
Credit/Debit Card
You can pay for your order by charging any credit or debit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO type), following the relevant instruction of the holder. In any case of purchase, the buyer must also be the holder of the card used. You will be asked for the minimum necessary card details (holder details, type, number, expiration date, Card authentication number)
The details you disclose, such as credit card number, etc.), are registered directly on the secure page of the Partner Bank and are not registered in our database, for your own security. The Partner Bank checks the above Card details and informs electronically about the approval or rejection of the transaction. Upon approval of the transaction, you are informed with a corresponding success message. In case the transaction is rejected by the Bank or the relevant network, then the purchase is not made.

9. DELIVERY
Orders are delivered to our company's physical branches.
- Transport of products with a volume of up to one (1) cubic meter and a weight of up to five hundred (500) kilograms to the city of Thessaloniki, are carried out by privately owned trucks and delivered on the sidewalk, with a charge of €24.80 including 24% VAT.
- Transport of products with a volume greater than one (1) cubic meter and/or a weight greater than five hundred (500) kilograms to the city of Thessaloniki and/or surrounding areas is carried out by D.H. trucks which determine the cost depending on the load and the distance.
- For any other domestic or foreign destination, the products are transported to the transport company of the customer's choice, provided that it is based/maintains a branch in the city of Thessaloniki, without charge. The cost of transport from the transport company to the destination is borne by the customer.
The most advantageous transport cost is notified to the customer the next business day after receipt of his order.
Packaging
Depending on the nature of the products, they are delivered without packaging, bundled with a hoop or wrapped with stretch film. Packaging with cardboard, corner guards and/or nylon bubble is available upon request at the appropriate cost.

Delivery time and place
The delivery of products sold in Thessaloniki or to a transport company takes place within a period of one (1) to three (3) days to the address you have stated when filling in your details.
Products that are made to order are excluded from the above. For these products, the estimated delivery time is calculated and agreed upon after communication between the sales department and the customer.
The above deadlines do not apply and the Company is not responsible in cases of delay and/or inability to deliver due to force majeure (extreme weather events, strikes, etc.), events of which you will be informed accordingly. The delivery of the order may be delayed or even canceled and the Company is not responsible in the event that it is impossible to contact you by telephone and/or by e-mail (if a problem occurs with the order, either in relation to the product or in relation to its payment) because e.g. the information that has been registered is not correctly registered and/or updated.
Orders are delivered after the recipient has signed. Each product that has been delivered must be checked by the customer and any reservations must be recorded on the delivery note of the transport company in case of partial or total damage, otherwise it is presumed that the packaging is in good condition and that it has been received unconditionally and no subsequent requests or complaints will be accepted.
10. PRODUCT RETURNS
You may return the product you ordered and received within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided that it is in excellent condition and retains its original packaging (labels, etc.).
Products that are made to order or are clearly personalized specifically for the requirements of a specific customer are NOT returned under any circumstances.

The return cost is borne by the customer.
The company will refund the amount you spent on its purchase (not the return cost), by reversing the transaction if the payment was made by credit card or by depositing cash into a bank account that you indicate, within 14 days from the date we receive the returned product and its inspection.
RETURNS OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
In cases where, due to proven fault of the company, you have received products of unacceptable quality or due to an error in receiving the order, in shipping, damaged, with poor packaging, etc., then the company assumes full responsibility for replacing the defective product with another similar one without defect, the return cost (in which case it will deposit the corresponding amount of expenses into a bank account that will be indicated to it), as well as the reshipment costs.
In any case of returning a product, defective or not, the product must necessarily be accompanied by its purchase receipt.
11. GOVERNING LAW - JURISDICTION
This Agreement is governed by European and Greek Law, in particular the laws regulating issues related to electronic commerce, the protection of intellectual property rights and personal data and the protection of consumers.
For any dispute arising from the use of this website and our products or regarding the interpretation or application of these terms of use or arising from them, or for any other reason between the user and the Company, Greek law shall apply and the courts of Thessaloniki shall have jurisdiction. In the event of a dispute arising from these terms of use between a user and the Company, the former is obliged, before initiating any legal action, to contact the Company within ten (10) days from the occurrence of the relevant events.
